Minutes of the 8/17/26 Board meeting

Called to order at 6:44

  1. Minutes from last meeting: Approved. 

  2. Treasurer’s report-

Our ledger is up to date. 

  • We recently received a $500 donation from --- and a tax letter has been sent to her

  • I reimbursed Lisa via PayPal for Loaves & Fishes on 7/31 - receipts can be viewed here.

  • I reimbursed myself $10 from our cash on hand for our annual registration with the MO Secretary of State.

  • Lisa and I both need to get new debit cards as they expire after 1 year (the reason for the reimbursements). 

  • We should consider increasing the budget for L&F. It went over budget last fiscal year due to increased food costs. There are 4 remaining L&F dinner services in the current fiscal year. We budget $750 annually, but the costs are coming in around $200 per dinner (the July reimbursement was around $195).  

    • Approved increase to $200 per, for 800 this FY. 

  • Our annual registration with the MO Secretary of State was filed on 7/31. As a reminder, this annual filing is due by the end of August each year. 


  • Recommendation to consider alternative fundraising mechanisms. 

    • Events (pickleball, other events) 

    • Sales (mugs, etc.) 

  • Caleb will look into calendar pre-orders for 2027
